EXB telescopic masts are expertly designed for highly mobile operations such as battlefield communications and electronic warfare, where quick deployment is crucial. These vehicle-mounted telescoping masts, featuring push-button operation, allow for rapid extension and hassle-free operation without the need for guy ropes.

Optimal Performance in Demanding Conditions

EXB masts extend to heights up to 15 meters (49.2 ft.) from the platform, supporting payloads up to 165 kg (364 lb), depending on mast performance requirements. Constructed from a mix of carbon and glass fiber, these masts ensure durability and strength. The masts utilize a double-belt system for extension and retraction, a technique proven to be reliable, especially in sandy and dusty conditions. This system includes an automatic latch mechanism for controlling the order of tube section extension, with an electric winch power unit (WPU) for operation, available in both AC and DC power options. A manual hand crank serves as a backup in case of power failure.

Customization and Advanced Features

The EXB masts are adaptable, with options for color and finish (CARC) as specified by the customer. These masts can be equipped with various antenna adapter types and antenna positioning accessories, ensuring versatility for different operational needs. Accessories include antenna positioners, vehicle mounting kits, antenna brackets, and optional guying ropes. Additional features like the power transformer (110–230V) and computer interface (RS485) are available to meet specific requirements.
